Inner tents
All our inner tents are made from proofed, but breathable rip-stop nylon. They are complete with mosquito net doors and waterproofed nylon groundsheets.
Flysheets
Jetpacker; Jetpacker Plus; Spacepacker Mk1; Spacepacker Plus Mk1; Triton; Base Camp; Orbit G7; Satellite Plus.
All made from waterproofed high-tenacity rip-stop nylon which has been silicone elastomer coated on both sides. Our two-side coating keeps the base fabric dry to obviate problems such as sagging and condensation. UV degradation is also reduced, giving the tent a longer life-span.
Fell-Trek; Hill-Trek; Mountain-Trek.
All made from 75 denier rip-stop polyester with taped seams. Flysheets with taped seams are PU coated. Polyester is woven from terylene fibres which expand much less than nylon when wet. This means there is less stress on the PU, meaning the taped seams are more reliable.
Spacepacker Mk2; Spacepacker Plus Mk2; Galaxy.
All made from 50 denier PU coated rip-stop plyester with taped seams
Space-Trek.
Made from PU and aluminium coated nylon with taped seams.
Poles
Jetpacker and Jetpacker Plus poles are made from short-sectioned cord-linked aluminium. All other poles are short-sectioned, cord-elasticated high-tensile aluminium. Each pole has an odd number of sections, which gives added reliability by avoiding the need for a join at the apex.
